Experience Fresh Sushi in a Fine Dining Setting at Mako

Chicago has a new fine dining sushi restaurant, and omakase lovers will rejoice when they see the menu at Mako. Celebrated chef B.K. Park brings his 20 years of experience to each seasonally driven selection, and the presentation of each small plate is balanced, interesting, and refined.

The current menu includes sea bass with yuzu, abalone braised with house soy, and king crab with uni miso, among about a dozen other items. Chef Park has a particular expertise with seafood, and elevates each cut of fish with unparalleled precision. The full omakase menu will set you back $175, a comparable price for many of the other fine dining restaurants in the area. Add a beverage pairing for an additional $85 per person. Mako opened just a few short weeks ago, but the service and sophisticated offering rivals that of longstanding Chicago establishments.

Mako is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and is located on West Lake Street in the Fulton Market neighborhood.
