Lazy Bird just might be Fulton Market’s best kept secret. It’s a new music and cocktail bar that’s tucked away down a set of stairs through The Hoxton, and it’s hard-to-find entrance and dark, chill atmosphere just adds to the exclusive vibe. 

Lazy Bird’s cocktail menu is certainly worth celebrating, and features 52 expertly crafted drinks with exotic mixers and fine liquor. The cocktail book does a great job of explaining the flavor profiles of each drink, but if you still need more guidance, you’ll find the bartenders friendly and attentive. The jazz selection heightens the cool, speakeasy experience, whether it’s an evening with live music or just ambient sound. Local favorite Joel Norman makes regular appearances, as well as Sam Trump and other jazz artists. 

Lazy Bird opens each evening at 5 p.m.. Enter at The Hoxton, and ask for direction to the stairs to the bar.
