The Bandit Is a New Restaurant-Bar Concept Open in the West Loop

For a great meal with a side of nostalgia, you have to hit up The Bandit, a new spot in the West Loop that opened just a couple weeks ago. This one-of-a-kind eatery serves up unique eats, clever cocktails and plenty of entertainment creating an ambiance that makes you want to stay a while. They’ve described themselves as a “glamour meets grit” kind of spot.

The menu takes bar bite staples like tater tots and takes it up a notch serving up tater tots with caviar and french onion crema. Beyond apps, they serve up unique entrees like the chicken shawarma bowl which is an early crowd favorite, as well as bourbon and maple glazed pork chops and 45-day dry aged rib eye with crispy smashed potatoes.

The Bandit may also be the only restaurant in the history of restaurants to offer a box of Franzia with “tableside box wine service”. That’s not the only option though, they have an extensive list of cocktails, wine, and beer in case you’re interested in the late-night scene they’ve become a part of.
