Pour Your Own Pint at District Brew Yards

People looking for a place to meet and enjoy excellent beer, check out District Brew Yards, on North Ashland Avenue. Though it may look like an ordinary beer bar upon first glance, there is something very special about this brewpub that allows it to stand out.

District Brew Yards is a project by Burnt City Brewing. The Chicago staple has partnered with Around the Bend Beer and Bold Dog Beer Company to create a selection of brews that will be hard to beat. What makes this brewpub even more interesting is that the beer is self-serve. Four stations of 10 taps each are available to paying customers to pour from as they please. Can’t decide on what to drink first? Beer guides are on hand to advise you about the various types on tap.

But beer isn’t the only thing you can enjoy here. Barbecue food is also on the menu. Sandwiches, platters, and plenty of sides are available for hungry customers. Smaller snacks like smoked peanuts and pretzels are available, too. Whatever you feel like getting, remember to bring your credit card– this brew yard doesn’t accept cash.
