Spending July in Chicago with 727 West Madison

July is about to be packed to the brim! Events, celebrations, and fun all month long. The month of July annually celebrates Plastic Free Month and National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. Local events include the Windy City Smokeout and Fireworks at Navy Pier. And, of course, July is home to America’s Independence Day.

Plastic Free Month is a global movement that encourages millions of people to be a part of the solution to plastic pollution. Be a part of the change by refusing to use single-use plastic items all month long, and learn ways to reduce your plastic use permanently.

National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is observed in order to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental health in the USA.

Windy City Smokeout is all about bands, barbeque, and beers. Right here in our lovely city of Chicago, from July 13-16. Featuring musicians like Zach Bryan, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, and so many other amazing performers. Get your tickets now before they sell out!

Fireworks at Navy Pier take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 10 pm from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. Find any spot on the pier for a free dazzling fireworks display.

Finally, make sure to celebrate Independence Day in style here at 727 West Madison. Fireworks, parades, concerts, and barbeques are all class 4th of July staples, but there are even more ways to celebrate this American holiday. First and foremost, score any deals you can! From snacks to kitchen appliances, there are tons of discounts and steals you can find.

Make red, white, and blue treats! From a cake decorated with a flag to a layered yogurt parfait. You could attend a baseball game, or a historical landmark or museum to learn more about our country’s history.
